Sample Speech Toast Wedding

“Ladies and Gentlemen!

The last time I made a speech was thirty years ago.
It was my own wedding.
And I was terrified.

But it is, of course, Diana, who is the star of today’s show.

She first introduced me to him in a restraunt “Charlie Kitchen” in LA.
He was very polite and formal.
But what struck me right from the start was the effect he had on Anna.
She seemed so happy and relaxed.
And he obviously adored her.

I can’t stress enough how proud I am today. And how good it is to have you all here. I hope you have a fabulous time this evening.
And I know you’ll want to join me in raising your glasses in a toast to a long, happy and healthy future for …
